Entering a space , the first thing that gets the eye attention would be the colours. We often walk in to houses with a not a great choice of colours on the walls or even the furnishings. Colours have a significant impact on our lives. Designers should pay a lot of attention on what colours to bring into the space so it impacts the look, the feel and the value of the space in a right way. Too much colours and patterns in a room might look interesting at the beginning but after a while it would definitely become tiring to eyes and confusing to mind. Although yellow can make you feel warm and positive, it can also make your eyes tired and strain. Surprisingly, the colour can also cause babies to cry more frequently.

Red stirs quite powerful feelings. It promotes an active appetite as well as sensations of intensity and passion. However, red is frequently avoided for areas of study because it may negatively impact performance, raise your heart rate, or evoke aggressive feelings.

There is a feeling of calm and serenity in blue. It's often associated with water and peace. Blue is a great colour for office interior design and bedrooms. On the other hand, blue can also feel cold and removed which is why it is maintained a strategic distance from in casual rooms just like the living room.
